The following terms of service by the Danka project team carried on by the non-for-profit organization ProLoka may be updated from time to time. The latest version can always be found here.

Danka provides users with a platform to share cultural information including pictures, comments videos, sound, audio, etc. (content) related to the events, artists, locations and general culture in Pakistan or Pakistani culture abroad. You understand and agree that the platform is provided 'as it is' and 'as it is available' and that Danka assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user data or settings. You hereby understand and agree that the platform may include advertisements.

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You understand that all information, data, text, sound, images, videos, messages, or other materials ("content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such content originated. This means that you, and not Danka, are entirely responsible for all content that you upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available via the platform.

Under no circumstances will Danka be liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the platform.

You acknowledge that Danka may or may not pre-screen content and has the right in their sole discretion to refuse or remove any content that is available via the platform. You acknowledge, consent and agree that Danka may access, preserve and disclose your account information and content if required. You also acknowledge that Danka reserves the right to log off or close your account for any reason.

With respect to content you submit or make available for inclusion on publicly accessible areas of the platform (not hidden content), you grant Danka and ProLoka the following worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive license, as applicable:
the license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publicly perform and publicly display such content (in whole or in part) for the purposes of providing and promoting the Danka platform and idea and to incorporate such content into other works in any format or medium now known or later developed, be it on commercial or non-commercial base. This particularly applies for all types of media (other websites, newspapers, magazines, etc.). This license exists as long as you explicitly refer from it (by email or letter).
Danka will always try to mention the user name submitted with the content whenever the license is applied. Nevertheless, neither Danka nore ProLoka can guarantee that this is always applied (eg. as due to third party dependence) and can not be held liable for this.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the platform, use of the platform, or access to the platform.

Content of the Danka website of any nature can only be reproduced at any other medium with prior permission of the Danka team or with explicit mentioning of its source by stating the following phrase next to the content displayed "Info provided by Danka - Pakistan's Cultural Events Guide, www.danka.pk" and linking back to the website.

Danka and ProLoka reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the platform (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that neither Danka nor ProLoka shall be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the platform or any other services offered.
